SECRET’s Song Ji-Eun
The pretty idol, Song Ji-eun, was born on May 5, 1990, in Seoul. She is an actress and singer from South Korea. Since she was at a young age, Ji-eun has been in love with music. She was known as a member of the girl-group Secret, but the group disbanded in 2018. Prior to her debut as a member of Secret, she was accepted into JYP Entertainment’s training program at a young age, and even lent her voice for various original soundtracks as a trainee. She was set to debut in a JYP Entertainment girl-group with SISTAR’s Hyo-rin, EXID’s Hani, and BESTie’s UJi, however the plans for the group ultimately fell through. Even though she failed to debut, that did not stop Ji-eun from trying again, and she went on to sign with TS Entertainment, where she debuted as the lead singer of Secret.Aside from her past group’s activities, she has released several solo songs and participated in various original soundtrack songs. In 2011, her second single, “Going Crazy”, featuring Bang Yong-guk, went on to become her first number-one single on the Gaon Chart as a solo artist.After withdrawing from her former group, Song Ji-eun now has focused on her acting career. She has played roles in various television series, such as The Immutable Law of First Love, Sweet Home, Sweet Honey, My Secret Romance, and others. Although now she has become a popular actress, she still also continues her career as a singer. She has released songs and contributed to various original soundtracks for television series.As a singer, she’s not only beautiful, but she also has talent. She proved that in her role as Secret’s main vocalist. Ji-eun was able to showcase her vocal skills first through her debut in Secret, then, later, through her solo debut. 4MINUTE’s Ga-yoon
Heo Ga-yoon, who was born May 18, 1990, is a South Korean singer and actress. She is known as a former member of the South Korean girl-group 4Minute and its sub-group, 2Yoon. She debuted as the main vocalist of 4Minute in 2009 under Cube Entertainment. She is well-known for her captivating voice, and even made it into SM Entertainment’s “Best Singer Contest” back in 2005. She once appeared in Mario’s “I’m Yours” music video, alongside Seulong from 2AM. While being part of her former group, 4Minute, she was also known for being a member of the subunit called 2Yoon, with her fellow member Jihyun, or Jenyer.Debuting in 2009 as a main vocalist of the group 4Minute, Heo Ga-yoon earned her title by successfully developing her skill, to keep her as the strongest vocalist within her group. Ga-yoon is really an amazing singer, she captivated many people with her unique and angelic voice.She has a very bright, girly, and light voice that generally shines more in her mid to higher range. She also has showcased her amazing high note, which amazes many people.As a vocalist and an amazing singer, Ga-yoon has released collaboration songs with other singers, and lent her soothing voice for a drama original soundtrack. Besides being a singer, she also has broadened her career as an actress, and has taken on roles in several television series and movies. After the disbandment of 4Minute, she decided to part ways with her former label, Cube Entertainment, and Ga-yoon joined BS company on October 14th, 2016, and will promote in the future as an actress.
KARA’s Seung-yoon
Han Seung-yeon is a South Korean singer and actress. She is the former main vocalist of the popular South Korean girl-group, Kara. She debuted as a main vocalist of Kara on March 29, 2007, but the group disbanded in January 2016, after Seung-yeon, Park Gyuri, and Goo Hara decided not to renew their contract with their former label, DSP Media. Aside from her former group’s activities, Seung-yeon has released solo songs, collaborated with other singers, and participated in original soundtracks for television series.The singer, who was born on July 24, 1988, is the strongest vocalist in KARA. Debuting as KARA’s main vocalist in 2007, Seung-yeon has kept her place as the group’s main vocal for years, and is always the member to take on the most challenging lines in their songs. The main vocalist has a light, bright, and girly voice, with a high-pitched sound and a range that generally sits quite high. The lowest part of her range has been explored and showcased a lot more than that of any other vocalist in KARA.As the main vocalist of KARA, Seung-yeon in charge of the hig- note part of the group’s songs. She is able to hit her high notes perfectly.Besides being a singer, she also has broadened her skill in acting, and has played roles in various movies and television series, such as Epic, Jang Ok-jung, Living by Love, Jang Bo-ri is Here!, Hello, My Twenties!, About Time, and Twelve Nights. AFTER SCHOOL’s UEE
Who doesn’t know UEE from After School? UEE is one of the most popular members of the girl-group After School. She was born on April 9, 1988, with the real name Kim Yu-jin. She is a South Korean singer and actress, and well known in her capacity as the main vocalist for her former idol group. Originally, UEE wanted to be an actress and went to many auditions, but she debuted as a singer, first. In 2007, Uee debuted as a member of the girl-group Five Girls, under Good Entertainment, which also included Yubin, Jun Hyo-seong, Yang Ji-won, and G.NA. The group starred in a reality show on MTV, called Diary of Five Girls, but disbanded before their scheduled debut due to Good Entertainment’s financial troubles.In April 2009, UEE joined the girl-group After School, under Pledis Entertainment, with their single “Diva”. She became known for her “honey thighs”, and proved popular with the general public, often topping online search rankings on various Korean websites.When she was a member of After School, her position in the group was the main dancer and vocalist. She may not be the main vocalist of the group, but UEE has a soothing and angelic voice.After debuting as a female idol, UEE then debuted as an actress and has acted in various television dramas including Queen Seondeok (2009), Ojakgyo Family (2011), Jeon Woo-chi (2012), Golden Rainbow (2013), High Society (2015), Marriage Contract (2016), and My Only One (2018). On May 31, 2017, UEE graduated and left After School and its agency, Pledis Entertainment. She is now under King Entertainment.
