TWICE Album Fashion Concept
TWICE has had a lot of different concepts ever since their debut in 2015. They have changed their appearance through different kinds of clothes, hairstyles, and complementary accessories. Shall we check it out?
The Story Begins Album
TWICE debuted with a girl crush concept for ‘Like Ooh Aah’. Red, black and white become the dominating colors for TWICE outfits. The usage of army patterns can be seen from the members’ clothes, either on their tops (Chaeyoung, Sana, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Dahyun) or pants and skirts (Momo, Chaeyoung, Mina, and Tzuyu). On the other hand, the leader Jihyo whose overall outfit doesn’t have any piece of army pattern wears a crop top jacket with a patched-up pattern, and the same goes for other members on their tops (Mina, Sana, and Dahyun). TWICE members have various kinds of hairstyles and colors for their first promotional song, starting from Momo who goes for long blonde hair which she tied up, Chaeyoung’s short hair, Mina’s long black hair, Sana’s grey pigtails hair, Nayeon’s long tied up hair, Jeongyeon’s pale pink boyish hair, Tzuyu’s long brown hair, Dahyun’s long hair with a piece of electric blue and pink extensions, and Jihyo’s long red hair. Some of the members wear accessories on their body, such as a conventional necklace (Chaeyoung, Nayeon, Jeongyeon, Dahyun, and Jihyo), a trending choker (Nayeon and Momo), and different kinds of the bracelets (Momo, Chaeyeoung, Mina, Sana, Tzuyu, and Dahyun). All the members of TWICE wear black platform shoes while Nayeon was the only member who wore fishnet stockings on her legs.
Page Two Album
The popularity of TWICE skyrocketed since the release of their second title track ‘Cheer Up’. Cheerleader squad became TWICE’s main concept for Page Two as it can be seen that all the members wear white and purple varsity jacket and sneakers, demin shorts, and different kinds of socks in the combinations of yellow, purple, black and white. Some of the members wear accessories on their head such as a baseball hat (Tzuyu and Chaeyoung) or beanie (Mina) while all the members hold something in their hands such as balloon letters that spell TWICE (Chaeyoung, Sana, Jeongyeon, Dahyun, and Jihyo) or pink pompoms (Tzuyu, Mina, Nayeon, and Momo). Some of TWICE’s members changed their hair drastically for this album promo, such as Mina who went for short brown hair and Sana who went for long blonde pigtails, whereas the others only changed their hair color subtly (Tzuyu, Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Jihyo, and Momo) or cut their bangs (Nayeon, Jeongyeon, and Jihyo). The sporty theme totally oozes from this album photoshoot, don’t you agree?
TWICEcoaster: LANE 1 Album
TWICE established their status as South Korea’s current trendy girl group with their third title track ‘T.T’. White and pastel purple become the dominating color for TWICEcoaster: LANE 1 as the girls look more girlish compared to their appearance on the preceding concepts. There is no drastic transformation of TWICE’s hairstyles and hair color for this concept besides Nayeon who cut her hair and has a very short bangs. Conversely, other members only dyed their hair color to be a darker shade (Mina, Chaeyoung, and Sana) or brighter shade (Momo, Nayeon, and Dahyun). For the first time, TWICE also wore different kinds of accessories on their ears, such as dangling earrings (Chaeyoung, Jeongyeon, and Sana) and ear piercings (Tzuyu, Mina, Momo, Jihyo, and Dahyun).
TWICEcoaster: LANE 2 Album
After finishing their promo with T.T, TWICE was back to promote ‘TWICEcoaster: LANE 2’ with the title track ‘Knock Knock’. Just like their debut album, TWICE’s playful clothes for their repackaged album is dominated by the colors red, black, and white. Most of the members wear jackest, dresses, or two-piece outfits with an alphabet pattern (Jeongyeon, Dahyun, Momo, Tzuyu, Jihyo, and Sana) whereas the rest wear long black and white striped shirts (Chaeyoung and Mina) or a red glittery shirt (Nayeon). Since the gap of the promotional period between ‘T.T’ and ‘Knock Knock’ was brief, TWICE members did not change their hairstyle extremely and only retouched the color to be a darker shade (Jeongyeon, Mina, Nayeon, and Momo) or brighter shade (Dahyun and Jihyo). All the members wore long ankle boots while some of the members wearing fishnet stockings (Chaeyoung and Sana) and black and white socks (Nayeon and Momo). Moreover, the appearance of TWICE was also complemented on their accessories, such as dangling earrings (Jeongyeon, Chaeyoung, Dahyun, Mina, Jihyo), button earrings (Nayeon, Momo, and Sana), and a necklace (Nayeon).
Signal Album
TWICE become the sweet school girls for their ‘Signal’ promo. However, unlike other girl groups who have used a similar concept, TWICE did not wear an ordinary uniform. Instead, each member wore different kinds of tailored uniforms which were dominated by the color of blue and white with a little hint of red. In addition, all members put on the various colored hairclips to complement the uniform look. As for their hairstyle and hair color, only Chaeyoung changed her hair to a bob cut and Nayeon came back with long red hair, whereas the rest only dyed and styled their hair a little different to their previous concept.
#TWICE (First Japanese Album)
TWICE started their advancement to Japan by launching their first Japanese album #TWICE with the title track ‘One More Time’. The members are all smiley wearing different kinds of white tops with the word ‘TWICE’ on them and two different shades of blue with white stripes on their skirt. All members also put on different kinds of earrings to complete their appearance. There was no major change of TWICE’s hairstyles and hair color besides Jeongyeon who for the first time ever, went for short blonde hair and Dahyun who dyed her dark brown hair to be a brighter shade of ash brown.

The oldest member of TWICE, Nayeon is considerably as one of the best stylish members in the group owing to the variety of clothes she puts on, starting from the casual look of a large red shirt, small black strap bag, and the minimal makeup on her face, the smart office look of long white ruffled shirt and black circle skirt, simple look of grey striped sweatshirt, and lastly, plain white shirt which is covered by denim jacket. TWICE Jeongyeon Fashion
Jeongyeon has had short and tomboyish hair since her debut with TWICE and wears relatively plain clothes as her wardrobe only includes a large white and black shirt, black cargo pants, sweatshirt and hoodie which are complemented by the usage of a cap on her head and cute animal pattern blanket draped on her upper body. Now, this is what we call as Yoo Jeongyeon’s free-spirited fashion!
TWICE Momo Fashion
The outfits of TWICE’s main dancer, Momo consists mainly of white tops which are combined with an A-Line skirt, halterneck, or long tank top. Momo also wears spectacles and brings a pouch, tube bag, or small backpack which go well with her overall look. Seems like Hirai Momo’s motto for her fashion is simplicity at its best, don’t you agree?
TWICE Sana Fashion
Along with Nayeon, the icon of the catchy catchphrase ‘Sha Sha Sha’ Sana is considered as one of the most fashionable members in TWICE. She often wears the floral dress and half sleeveless dress to accentuate her feminine features. In the other events, Sana goes for the comfy look by wearing an oversized sweatshirt and red shirt that is paired up with a black miniskirt. The presence of the sling bag on her shoulder makes her whole look look more balanced and pleasant. Isn’t Minatozaki Sana stunning?
TWICE Jihyo Fashion
Together with Jeongyeon, TWICE leader Jihyo has quite a narrow preference for her airport and daily fashion. She is frequently seen wearing different kinds of black clothes, though there are times when she wears bright colored clothes, just like the one on this picture. TWICE Mina Fashion
It seems like the Black Swan of TWICE, Mina falls in love with checkered pattern clothes as it can be seen that she wears outfits with the said pattern numerous times. TWICE Dahyun Fashion
Dahyun who is often mistaken for being the youngest in TWICE rarely wears short or sleeveless clothes. Her wardrobe consisted of a long sweatshirt, hoodie, or long shirt with soft and dark colors. Moreover, Dahyun’s practical side can be seen by the usage of a black backpack on her back, while a bucket hat and baseball cap often cover her head. TWICE Chaeyoung Fashion
The main rapper of TWICE, Chaeyoung has an assortment of outfits, making her the group’s most modist member when it comes to dressing up. It is always exciting to see Chaeyoung turning up to the airport or daily schedule because she is not afraid to experiment with her fashion, starting from her sailor outfit with blue and white stripes which goes well with braided hair and a small watch on her wrist, the girly look which is consisted of a purple dress, tousled hair and a silver bracelet, and the compact look that is consisted of plain grey shirt, black trouser, strap watch, black sling bag, brown portfolio and red and blue flat cap as the fashion statement.
