Two Idols Who Met With Love

As you guys know, love belongs to everybody. The young ones, the old ones, the ordinary ones, the famous ones, it doesn’t matter who is it. So it’s not an odd thing for it to happen to Korean celebrities as well. However, sadly, separation is never something good experienced by the ones who have previously been in love with each other. Unfortunately, this happened to former Topp Dogg member P Goon and his now ex-wife Ra Nia’s Yumin. They fell so deeply in love with each other that they decided to get married at a very young age. Sadly, their love story seems to have ended as the shocking news about their divorce hit the media. And today, Channel-Korea will provide you with pieces of information about P Goon and Yumin’s marriage that had to end. So, without further ado, let us get into the main topic.  

Ex-Topp Dogg’s P Goon

For you guys who might not know yet, Topp Dogg (탑독), or now people know them as Xeno-T (제노티), is a South Korean male idol group that debuted under Stardom Entertainment (which is now merged with HUNUS Entertainment) on October 22nd, 2013. Previously, the thirteen-member group created in 2013 under Stardom Entertainment, moved to Hunus Entertainment, following Stardom Entertainment’s merger with the company. But then, after multiple line-up changes, the remaining five members subsequently changed their name to XENO-T in 2018. As Topp Dogg, the group released one studio album, four EPs, three repackages, eight singles, and had three soundtrack appearances. Their former member, P Goon, was born in Seoul, South Korea on October 18th, 1991. His real name is Park Se-hyeok. He was the leader, lead vocalist, and lead dancer when he was still in Topp Dogg.

P Goon’s Facts

– He is from Seoul, South Korea. – He has a younger sister, Park Se Hee, a member of PEACE. – He is a former DSP Entertainment and YG Entertainment trainee. – He likes playing soccer, working out, DJing. – He can speak Japanese. – Prior to debut, he was a backup dancer for EVoL and a number of their performances of “Get Up” from March – April 2013. – He DJs as a hobby when the group is taking a break. – In 2014, he appeared on the show Let’s Go Dream Team alongside bandmates Sangdo and Hojoon. – P-Goon shared a room with A-Tom, but A-Tom usually ended up sleeping on the couch because their room was too hot. – On September 29th, 2017, it was announced that P-Goon left Topp Dogg. – It was also announced that he plans to enlist for his mandatory military service and after being discharged he plans to focus on acting. – P-Goon got married to former RaNia member, Yumin on August 25th, 2018. – Sehyeok (P-Goon) became a father in February 2019. – In February 2019, Yumin revealed that she and P-Goon had separated and she takes care of her son alone. – P-Goon’s ideal type: Someone who becomes more charming the more time you spend with her.  

RaNia’s Yumin

RaNia, formerly known as BP Rania or Black Pearl Rania, is a South Korean girl group formed by DR Music in 2011, created by American Teddy Riley. According to some online news portal, RaNia was originally set to debut in mid-2010 as the third generation of Baby V.O.X., however, their record company DR Music decided to rebrand them as a new group named Rania with eight members. On December 23rd, 2016, DR Music revealed a teaser image for BP Rania and hinted a comeback as a seven-member group. It was on December 25th, 2016, that Yumin joined the group as the image teaser of her revealed. For more information, Yumin, or Kim Yoo-min, was a sub-vocalist for BP Rania who was born in Osan, Gyeonggi, South Korea on April 22nd, 1994. Her height is 172 cm and her weight is 46 kg. But unfortunately, on May 30th, 2018, DR Music announced the departure of Yumin from the group due to her having “recently faced with circumstances that make it increasingly hard for her to follow the extremely demanding team schedule.”

Yumin’s Facts

– She is one of three new members of the new line-up of Rania. – She was officially introduced on December 25th, 2016. – On May 30th, 2018, it was announced that Yumin left the band. – Yumin married P-Goon, a former member of Topp Dogg, on August 25th, 2018. – On December 7th, 2018, she gave birth to a son. – In February 2019, Yumin revealed that she and P-Goon had separated and she takes care of her son alone.  

Marriage

On August 25th, 2018, P Goon and Yumin got married. According to www.soompi.com, they held their wedding ceremony as they already told the public when they got engaged in July in the same year. Following the wedding, P-Goon shared a photo on Instagram with the caption, “I express my gratitude to everyone who has congratulated us on our wedding. We will happily live well. Thank you.” P-Goon and Yumin also had a honeymoon in Da Nang, Vietnam. The photos are now deleted from his Instagram.

Divorce

In early 2019, Yumin revealed that she is separating with P-Goon and she’s taking care of their child on her own. “On December 7, I finally held my child in my arms. In the past days of our marriage, the conflicts between us got deeper, and last week, we agreed to divorce. However, we changed our minds after a few days passed by, and we decided to give each other time to think. After thinking about it, we’ve spoken about parting ways. We promised not to update news on our baby until we were ready, and because it might cause harm to the child, we were in the stage of being careful. However, my husband one-sidedly revealed the baby, and I found out about it through an acquaintance. P-Goon and I are currently separated, and I’m currently raising the child. I have a lot to say, so I plan to reveal what’s happened one thing at a time,” said Yumin in her personal Instagram account post. A source from P-Goon’s agency Hunus Entertainment has told the news outlet OSEN, “Whether or not P-Goon and Yumin have divorced or separated is a matter related to the artists’ private lives, and so we do not know anything about that.” That was all about P-Goon and Yumin’s separation news from Channel-Korea.
