Sulli and Choiza Are Confirmed to Breakup
In early March 2017, startling news came from the open-up relationship couple Sulli and Dynamic’s Duo Choiza. According to media outlet Star News, the lovebirds have broken up after dating for two years and seven months since August 2014. Sulli’s talent agency SM Entertainment confirmed the report, After looking into the report, it is correct that they have broken up. They have decided to remain good junior-senior friends”, while Choiza’s talent agency Amoeba Culture explained in details about the reason they broke up, “Due to their busy schedules and different ways of life, Choiza and Sulli naturally grew apart. The time they spent together will remain as a good memory”. Prior to their breakup, Sulli was reported to have attempted suicide in late November 2016 as she was taken to Seoul University Hospital due to a minor injury. Media outlet Chosun reported that the hospital employee revealed that Sulli’s injury located in her left wrist and was 5cm wide, deep enough to show her tendons. After receiving emergency treatment, Sulli underwent an x-ray scan. Soon after the report, the hospital representative denied Sulli’s whereabouts in their place, “The patient under question is currently not in the hospital. Nothing else can be disclosed because it is the patient’s private information”. On the other hand, media outlet News Post reported that Sulli was with her manager when she came to the hospital and was in-and-out of the place within 30 minutes. SM Entertainment stated that Sulli’s condition is healthy and well, whereas Amoeba Culture could not check anything because of the privacy. After the breakup, Sulli’s Instagram posts seemed more normal than usual. On March 9, the former f(x) member shared several photos showing her smiling widely along with her friends. The netizens put encouraging comments to cheer her up, saying how she has always been pretty and that her appearance looks more mature. Many fans think that the reason Sulli posted strange photos in her Instagram account was that of her past relationship with Choiza. Not only Sulli, but Choiza’s Instagram account was also scrutinized by the netizens especially after Sulli’s new relationship was announced. In mid-May 2017, Choiza posted a photo taken at a barbecue restaurant with the dual meaning caption ‘Is this a lamb’s leg’ which cannot be translated as ‘two-timing’, implying that Sulli may have met her new boyfriend when she was still dating Choiza.

In early September 2017, Choiza personally requested the reporters to avoid questions irrelevant to Show Me the Money 6, implying that he acknowledged the rumor of him getting back with Sulli once again. Despite his request, the reporters said that it would be best if Choiza made his stance clear so the rapper replied, “I will talk about that later when I get the opportunity”.
Sulli Dating Another Man After Choiza
Two months after her breakup with Choiza, Sulli is reported to be the girlfriend of non-celebrity brand director of 360 SOUNDS Kim Min-joon. Before becoming the lovers, Sulli and Kim Min-joon were friends before deciding to date as romantic partners. The close source of them also added that the couple enjoys dates in the public, never intended to keep their relationship in secret. Soon after the report was released, Sulli’s agency confirmed in their official statement, “The two apparently became interested in each other recently. She is being careful because he is a non-celebrity. We ask that everyone be respectful about their relationship”. Unfortunately, Sulli and Kim Min-joon’s relationship did not last long because, in mid-July 2017, the pairing was reported to break up after dating for 4 months. The farewell between the lovers was announced personally by Kim Min-joon on his personal SNS, “We got to know each other as man and woman and we began to notice differences and accepted them. In late October 2018, Choiza was invited to JTBC’s variety show Give Me a Meal. The rapper revealed his thoughts on marriage, saying that he often wondered about his future children whenever he saw kids of Dynamic Duo’s Gaeko, “I did not have particular thoughts on it (marriage) but I often think after seeing them (Gaeko’s children)”. As for his ideal type, Choiza seemed indifferent, “I am not sure what type of person I like. You just like them if you like them and it has to be fun when we are together”. The same topics were brought up previously during Choiza’s appearance on tvN’s Life Bar in early June 2018. Choiza said that he thinks of the marriage as something simply does not exist in his life, “ I feel like I have been swimming in the sea of possibilities after seeing Gaeko (who has married) but eventually got tired of it. I do not want to remain in the sea. I want to enter an island”. On the other hand, Choiza said that he does not see similarities in the people he has dated, causing him to not really know about his ideal type.
Sulli’s Latest News
After changing her aura to the mature side in the movie Real, Sulli is reported to launch her own reality program titled Jinri’s Shop. SM Entertainment confirmed the news on April 18, “The program will be produced by SM CCC LAB and directed by producer Kim Ji-wook. It will follow Sulli’s life as she works on opening a pop-up store”. Two months later, Sulli went to Germany to film the show. Accordingly, Sulli also has her own business card which she has shared on her Instagram account, revealing how the card embedded her birth name Choi Jinri along the title as the CEO of Jinri’s Shop.
