Lee Sang-soon is a musician and a guitarist in the rock band Roller Coaster who was born on August 25th, 1974. Other than being active as a musician, he has also starred in some movies, such as The Winter of The Year was Warm (2012), Grape Candy (2012), The Heaven is Only Open to the Single! (2012). Lee Sang-soon and Lee Hyo-ri are both members of an animal rights group. This was an opportunity for them to meet more often and share interests; and so Lee Sang-soon began dating Lee Hyo-ri after their collaboration, in July 2011, on a song that they recorded to support animal shelters. He then got married to Lee Hyo-ri on September 1st, 2013, at their vacation home on Mt. Halla in Jeju Island. Unfortunately, they had to move out from their vacation home and sell it in 2016 because of the disturbance they received from tourists after the variety show Lee Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast aired. There were many tourists that would simply ring their doorbell just to talk to them. Some even trespassed their home just to take a photo or video around their vacation home. Not only that, the fans even went as far as asking the city office in Jeju Island to find the couple’s address. As they could no longer put up with the disturbance, they decided to sell the vacation home that was bought by JTBC, the network that aired Lee Hyori’s Bed and Breakfast, in order to manage the brand image and protect the cast. Lee Sang-soon and Lee Hyo-ri’s Love Life
As has been mentioned earlier, Lee Sang-soon and Lee Hyo-ri have been married since the first day of September in 2013. Their wedding took place on Mt. Halla in Jeju Island where they had their own vacation home. Both of them belong to an animal rights group and they are known as one of the entertainment industry’s most popular couple. But, do you know anything about their story before they got married? It was revealed by a reporter that this couple actually had a very rough start! The reason was that they didn’t like each other at their first meeting that turned out to be a blind date. They nearly went their separate ways as they were the direct opposite of each other. According to Lee Hyo-ri, she doubted that Lee Sang-soon could handle her while Lee Sang-soon didn’t like Lee Hyo-ri either. But later, they started dating two years after their initial meeting. Lee Sang-soon gave Lee Hyo-ri a proposal in such a sweet and romantic way. His proposal was aired in Lee Hyori’s X Unnie in the episode that was aired on August 27th. On that day, Lee Hyo-ri, who returned home at a late hour due to preparations for SPICA’s album, was given a surprise when she stepped inside the house. A video that Lee Sang-soon had prepared beforehand was played on a big screen, containing videos of her close friends who congratulated her for her plans to tie the knot. Lastly, after the video finished playing, Lee Sang-soon came out and got on his knee while taking out the engagement ring. This sweet proposal made Lee Hyo-ri moved to tears, and of course, she accepted the ring and put it on her finger. The couple completed their sweet moments by locking themselves in a tight embrace. The couple keeps showing their sweet moments after their marriage. As both of them are musicians, they have their own private music jam sessions! In one of the episodes, Lee Sang-soon showed how much he cares about Lee Hyo-ri by giving her a rub on her tummy when she had a stomachache. Lee Hyo-ri also shows how much she loves Lee Sang-soon by talking with IU. She said that before, she was afraid that she would grow tired and cheat on her husband if she ever married someone. In one of the episodes of Happy Together, where Lee Hyo-ri came as a guest, she was asked whether she would marry Lee Sang-soon again or not if she had another shot at life. She immediately answered yes without any hesitation, then she professed her true love for her husband as she said that it is truly her wish. As she was asked again if she loved her husband that much, she gave a positive answer to the question and said that even though she dated many men previously and loved them all, she had never felt so deeply in love as she has fallen for her husband. As for Lee Sang-soon, he revealed that his ideal type was always someone he could connect with through a conversation and talk to for a long time, in one of Lee Hyori’s X Unnie episodes. A year into the couple’s marriage, Lee Sang-soon admitted that he still talked to his wife a lot, to which Lee Hyo-ri responded hilariously that all they do is talk.
